Established over 1,400 years ago, Xitou is a tranquil haven nestled within Qianjiangyuan-Baishanzu National Park in Zhejiang, China. Renowned for its pristine ecology, with 92% forest coverage and remarkable air and water quality, Xitou is home to more than 1,270 living species, including the rare black muntjac and giant salamander. The village\u2019s dedication to preserving its natural and cultural heritage is exemplified by its traditional firing technique for Longquan celadon, which was recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009.
