The district of Ollantaytambo is located 94.4 km away from the city of Cusco (2 hours approximately), which is accessed by the Cusco – Urubamba – Ollantaytambo road. Thanks to ancestral traditional technique, the farmers in Ollantaytambo are creating sustainable solutions for agriculture in order to produce a greater variety of potatoes, avocado cultivation, and fruits such as strawberries, which were not previously available. Ollantaytambo is relying on the students of Toulouse Latrec academy to face the crisis of Covid-19. The young professionals designed more than 70 tourist and commercial shops in Ollantaytambo during the pandemic.
