presenta un paisaje ondulado con vistas espectaculares, exuberante vegetaci\u00f3n, abundantes r\u00edos y una gran diversidad de plantas y \u00e1rboles. El pueblo ind\u00edgena Bakonzo vive principalmente de la agricultura. Situado al pie de las monta\u00f1as Rwenzori, el pueblo limita con el Parque Nacional de las Monta\u00f1as Rwenzori. Para complementar sus ingresos agr\u00edcolas, la gente de Ruboni se ha involucrado en el turismo, ofreciendo tres senderos tur\u00edsticos dentro del parque y diez actividades afuera, incluido el sendero del bosque Buraru, el sendero Makongothe Hill, el sendero Ruboni Village Walk, el sendero Mappata Falls, espect\u00e1culos de danza cultural, experiencias de tejido de cestas, actividades agr\u00edcolas, recorridos por la elaboraci\u00f3n de caf\u00e9 y recorridos de cocina tradicional. El pueblo cuenta con varias instalaciones tur\u00edsticas, incluidos nueve hoteles y establecimientos de alojamiento, un camping, tres casas de familia y acceso a las instalaciones del Parque Nacional de las Monta\u00f1as Rwenzori a trav\u00e9s de la Puerta del Parque establecido sus propias reservas forestales para alentar a los turistas a establecer conexiones culturales con la naturaleza, sin tener que escalar monta\u00f1as. Estos bosques comunitarios brindan beneficios ecosist\u00e9micos y sirven como recurso natural para los residentes, al mismo tiempo que act\u00faan como zonas de amortiguamiento para el parque nacional.
