El pueblo peatonal da la bienvenida a los visitantes para un tranquilo paseo, con sus adoquines y sus fuentes. El pueblo dio nombre a la regi\u00f3n de La Gruy\u00e8re y a su delicioso queso, Le Gruy\u00e8re AOP. El pueblo est\u00e1 rodeado por los prealpes, que invitan a maravillosas excursiones en medio de una naturaleza preservada por el Parque Natural de la Regi\u00f3n Gruy\u00e8re Pays d&#8217;Enhaut, del que forma parte Gruy\u00e8res. El monte Mol\u00e9son, s\u00edmbolo del cant\u00f3n de Friburgo, se encuentra a pocos kil\u00f3metros de Gruy\u00e8res.    <\/p><p>El castillo de Gruy\u00e8res, del siglo XIII, visible desde la distancia, domina la ciudad. Es testigo del pasado medieval de la ciudad y no deja indiferente a sus visitantes. Por su parte, el museo y el bar del oscarizado artista H.R. Giger muestran las fant\u00e1sticas obras del creador de Alien.  <\/p><p>The 13th century castle of Gruy\u00e8res, visible from a distance, dominates the town. Giger showcase the fantastic works of the creator of Alien. <\/p><p>La queser\u00eda de demostraci\u00f3n \u00abLa Maison du Gruy\u00e8re\u00bb presenta el mundialmente famoso Gruy\u00e8re AOP. Los visitantes pueden ver el proceso de elaboraci\u00f3n del queso en directo. Los restaurantes tradicionales sirven la legendaria especialidad de La Gruy\u00e8re: la fondue de queso \u00abmoiti\u00e9-moiti\u00e9\u00bb.  <\/p><p>El pueblo es tambi\u00e9n un ejemplo de c\u00f3mo un destino de monta\u00f1a puede ser sostenible durante 4 temporadas al a\u00f1o. Gruy\u00e8res fue reconocido por su alto compromiso con las nueve \u00e1reas de evaluaci\u00f3n de la iniciativa BTV, entre ellas, por su avance en la conservaci\u00f3n de los recursos naturales y culturales (Gruy\u00e8res se incorpor\u00f3 oficialmente en 2021 al Parque Natural Regional Gruy\u00e8re pays d&#8217;Enhaut), por el compromiso de su DMO, que ayuda a los agricultores a desarrollar productos tur\u00edsticos como visitas a queser\u00edas y oferta de alojamiento y por ser un ejemplo notable en el uso de la propiedad intelectual \u2013 \u201cLe Gruy\u00e8re AOP (que significa Appellation d&#8217;origine prot\u00e9g\u00e9e) Suiza\u00bb en relaci\u00f3n con el turismo.
