d\u00f3lmenes del Patrimonio Mundial y el humedal Ramsar de Ungok. El pueblo es famoso por su patrimonio cultural representativo: los d\u00f3lmenes, que forman parte de la cultura megal\u00edtica. De los 60.000 d\u00f3lmenes que hay en el mundo, 40.000 se encuentran en Corea y 1.665 de ellos en la zona de Gochang. 447 de los d\u00f3lmenes situados en Ungok est\u00e1n registrados como Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO. En cuanto al patrimonio natural, el pueblo destaca por el humedal Ramsar de Ungok, que est\u00e1 junto al sitio de los d\u00f3lmenes. El humedal es un recurso natural vital que absorbe el di\u00f3xido de carbono y reduce los da\u00f1os causados por el cambio clim\u00e1tico. El humedal Ramsar de Ungok es un tipo raro de humedal palustre de baja altitud reconocido por su valor de biodiversidad. El humedal es un patrimonio natural protegido a nivel mundial registrado en la Convenci\u00f3n de Ramsar el 6 de abril de 2011.       <\/p><p>La aldea de Ungok crea un valor a\u00f1adido al conectar el turismo con el principal negocio de la aldea, la agricultura. El Consejo de Ecoturismo del Humedal Ramsar de Gochang Ungok dirige los esfuerzos para ofrecer programas de ecoturismo, de la granja a la mesa y el mercado local de los s\u00e1bados, aprovechando los productos agr\u00edcolas de producci\u00f3n local del pueblo y los conocimientos y experiencias de los residentes.
