data-contrast=\"none\">Nkotsi es un peque\u00f1o pueblo ubicado en el lado suroeste de Musanze, una ciudad en la Provincia del Norte de Ruanda. Es uno de los pueblos que forman parte del Parque Nacional de los Volcanes, Reserva de la Biosfera de la UNESCO reconocida internacionalmente y hogar del 30% de la poblaci\u00f3n mundial de gorilas de monta\u00f1a. El avistamiento de gorilas es el principal atractivo tur\u00edstico de Ruanda, pero la oferta debe diversificarse para asegurar el turismo como una fuente sostenible de ingresos para la poblaci\u00f3n.  <\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Es por eso que Nkotsi re\u00fane a las comunidades alrededor de las monta\u00f1as Virunga para promover el desarrollo sostenible de la comunidad, involucrando a la poblaci\u00f3n local en programas que mejoran sus medios de vida a trav\u00e9s de iniciativas de conservaci\u00f3n ambiental, arte y cultura, educaci\u00f3n y salud comunitaria y seguridad alimentaria.<\/span><\/p><p><span data-contrast=\"none\">El pueblo no solo preserva la cultura y saberes ind\u00edgenas, sino que tambi\u00e9n es un lugar donde los turistas pueden venir y vivir en primera persona el patrimonio transmitido de generaci\u00f3n en generaci\u00f3n. Estas iniciativas crean oportunidades de empleo para mujeres y j\u00f3venes a trav\u00e9s de experiencias art\u00edsticas y culturales enfocadas en la conservaci\u00f3n y el intercambio de habilidades
