El distrito de Ollantaytambo<\/strong> se encuentra a 94.4 km de distancia de la ciudad del Cusco (2 horas aproximadamente), el cual se accede por la carretera Cusco \u2013 Urubamba \u2013 Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo pertenece al Corredor Tur\u00edstico Preferencial Cusco \u2013 Machupicchu y a lo largo de su historia ha logrado permanecer como pueblo inca viviente, ha sido y es un importante pilar de la cultura quechua. <\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Es famosa para su Parque Arqueol\u00f3gico de Ollantaytambo (PAO), (declarado Patrimonio Cultural de la Naci\u00f3n) que fue construido por el Inca Pachac\u00fatec sobre dos monta\u00f1as, que constituy\u00f3 un complejo militar, religioso, administrativo y agr\u00edcola, y lugar estrat\u00e9gico para la observaci\u00f3n astron\u00f3mica. <\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

A trav\u00e9s de las organizaciones p\u00fablicas y privadas se han desarrollado diversos proyectos e iniciativas para la protecci\u00f3n del patrimonio cultural y herencia inca, a mejorar peri\u00f3dicamente las estructuras patrimoniales, comprometi\u00e9ndose a conservar los colores tradicionales de la localidad, que hacen aut\u00e9ntico al pueblo de Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo fue elegida como pueblo piloto para la Iniciativa \u201cPueblos con Encanto\u201d del Ministerio de Comercio Exterior y Turismo, que marca el compromiso permanente de promoci\u00f3n y conservaci\u00f3n del patrimonio. Por otra parte, las comunidades rurales participan activamente del Queu\u00f1a Raymi, actividad organizada por ECOAN a trav\u00e9s del proyecto Vilcanota, con el objetivo de conservar la flora y fauna natural nativas, y la protecci\u00f3n de las cabeceras de las cuencas, a minimizar los efectos del cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Gracias a la t\u00e9cnica tradicional ancestral, los agricultores de Ollantaytambo est\u00e1n creando soluciones sostenibles para la agricultura con el fin de producir una mayor variedad de papas, cultivos de aguacate y frutas como las fresas, que antes no estaban disponibles. Ollantaytambo est\u00e1 confiando en los alumnos de la academia Toulouse Latrec para enfrentar la crisis del Covid-19. Los j\u00f3venes profesionales dise\u00f1aron m\u00e1s de 70 locales tur\u00edsticos y comerciales en Ollantaytambo durante la pandemia.
