Creel est situ\u00e9 \u00e0 247 km au sud-ouest de la ville de Chihuahua, dans les hautes terres de la Sierra Madre Occidentale, connue sous le nom de Sierra Tarahumara.<\/p>

Le village fait partie de la r\u00e9gion touristique de Barrancas del Cobre qui abrite les communaut\u00e9s Rar\u00e1muri et comprend un groupe de canyons s’\u00e9tendant sur une superficie de 30 000 km2<\/sup> parcourue de sept principaux ravins. La r\u00e9gion est un arr\u00eat important sur la voie ferr\u00e9e Chihuahua-Pacifique, qui relie le centre-nord du Mexique au Pacifique. Cette voie est class\u00e9e comme l’une des routes les plus pittoresques au monde et desserve \u00e9galement le \u00ab Village Magique\u00bb d’El Fuerte, Sinaloa.<\/p>

De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, Creel est depuis 2007 d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Pueblo M\u00e1gico (Village Magique), une reconnaissance accord\u00e9e par le gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral \u00e0 plus de 132 destinations aux caract\u00e9ristiques authentiques et uniques. Il fait partie de l\u2019une des routes magiques du Nord-Ouest, promue sous le nom de \u00ab\u00a0Mar de Cort\u00e9s-Barrancas del Cobre\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>

Creel abrite des temples et des \u0153uvres d’art de l’\u00e9poque coloniale qui d\u00e9peignent la culture Rar\u00e1muri et repr\u00e9sentent un patrimoine unique digne d’\u00eatre partag\u00e9 avec le reste du monde.<\/p>

Creel propose aussi des exp\u00e9riences Rar\u00e1muri uniques et authentiques. Les hommes Rar\u00e1muri organisent des circuits de randonn\u00e9e en partance du parc d’aventure Barrancas del Cobre avec des paysages vari\u00e9s et de diff\u00e9rents niveaux de difficult\u00e9. Dans le but de prot\u00e9ger la diversit\u00e9 bioculturelle et offrir des opportunit\u00e9s d’emploi aux villageois, le village a introduit les \u201cExp\u00e9riences Raramuri\u201d. Creel \u00e9tait historiquement un village qui d\u00e9pendait \u00e9conomiquement sur l\u2019exploitation du bois des for\u00eats. Cependant, au cours des 20 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, le tourisme est devenu la principale source d’emploi car le village est la porte d’entr\u00e9e du Copper Canyon et des chutes de Basaseachi, l’une des plus hautes chutes d’eau du Mexique.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Creel propose un large choix d’h\u00f4tels, la plupart d’entre eux se distinguant par l’utilisation de mat\u00e9riaux bruts locaux tels que les poutres boleadas, la pierre, l’adobe ou le bois.
