derni\u00e8re extension naturelle de la for\u00eat de ch\u00eanes \u00e0 feuilles caduques, l&rsquo;arbre national de Jordanie. De plus, le village poss\u00e8de de nombreux arbres p\u00e9rennes et des formes rares de v\u00e9g\u00e9tation.<\/p><p>La richesse du patrimoine culturel d\u2019Umm Qais se r\u00e9v\u00e8le par les vestiges de la ville romaine de Gadara, l&rsquo;une des dix villes de la D\u00e9capole, qui s\u2019harmonisent parfaitement avec l\u2019h\u00e9ritage ottoman qui caract\u00e9rise l\u2019architecture du vieux village.<\/p><p>Cette architecture a \u00e9t\u00e9 scrupuleusement pr\u00e9serv\u00e9e gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une r\u00e9habilitation traditionnelle et \u00e0 la r\u00e9affectation des b\u00e2timents \u00e0 des fins touristiques.<\/p><p>Le tourisme d\u2019aventure aura sa part dans le village d\u2019Umm Qais avec le tunnel de l\u2019aqueduc qui est con\u00e7u pour \u00eatre le plus long tunnel d&rsquo;eau au monde avec une longueur de 164 km reliant le sud de la Syrie au site arch\u00e9ologique d&rsquo;Umm
