L&rsquo;importance de ses ressources naturelles et culturelles, ainsi que la fa\u00e7on dont elles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9serv\u00e9es et promues, leur a valu distinctions et reconnaissances tant au niveau national qu&rsquo;international.<\/p><p>Le site arch\u00e9ologique de Chav\u00edn de Hu\u00e1ntar est d\u00e9clar\u00e9 site du patrimoine mondial de l&rsquo;UNESCO. Il a donn\u00e9 son nom \u00e0 la culture qui s&rsquo;est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e entre 1500 et 300 av. J.-C. et s&rsquo;est install\u00e9e le long de cette vall\u00e9e des Andes.
