Le village pi\u00e9tonnier accueille les visiteurs pour une promenade tranquille, avec ses pav\u00e9s et ses fontaines. Le village a donn\u00e9 son nom \u00e0 la r\u00e9gion de la Gruy\u00e8re et \u00e0 son d\u00e9licieux fromage, Le Gruy\u00e8re AOP. Le village est entour\u00e9 par les Pr\u00e9alpes, qui invitent \u00e0 de merveilleuses randonn\u00e9es au milieu d&rsquo;une nature pr\u00e9serv\u00e9e par le Parc Naturel de la r\u00e9gion Gruy\u00e8re Pays d&rsquo;Enhaut, dont fait partie Gruy\u00e8res. Le Mont Mol\u00e9son, symbole du canton de Fribourg, se trouve \u00e0 quelques kilom\u00e8tres de Gruy\u00e8res.    <\/p><p>Le ch\u00e2teau de Gruy\u00e8res, datant du XIIIe si\u00e8cle, visible de loin, domine la ville. Il t\u00e9moigne du pass\u00e9 m\u00e9di\u00e9val de la ville et ne laisse aucun visiteur indiff\u00e9rent. Le mus\u00e9e et le bar de l&rsquo;artiste oscaris\u00e9 H.R. Giger pr\u00e9sentent les \u0153uvres fantastiques du cr\u00e9ateur d&rsquo;Alien.  <\/p><p>Les produits locaux constituent une part importante de l&rsquo;identit\u00e9 de la Gruy\u00e8re. En effet, l&rsquo;agriculture est profond\u00e9ment ancr\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;identit\u00e9 du village et sera toujours au c\u0153ur du d\u00e9veloppement touristique, notamment dans le cadre de la production du fromage \u00ab\u00a0Gruy\u00e8re AOP Switzerland\u00a0\u00bb. <\/p><p>La fromagerie de d\u00e9monstration \u00ab\u00a0La Maison du Gruy\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb pr\u00e9sente le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Gruy\u00e8re AOP. Les visiteurs peuvent assister en direct au processus de fabrication du fromage. Les restaurants traditionnels servent la l\u00e9gendaire sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 de la Gruy\u00e8re : la fondue au fromage moiti\u00e9-moiti\u00e9.  <\/p><p>Le village est \u00e9galement un exemple de la mani\u00e8re dont une destination de montagne peut \u00eatre durable pendant 4 saisons par an. Gruy\u00e8res a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnue pour son engagement \u00e9lev\u00e9 dans les neuf domaines d&rsquo;\u00e9valuation de l&rsquo;initiative TVB, notamment pour ses progr\u00e8s en mati\u00e8re de conservation des ressources naturelles et culturelles (Gruy\u00e8res a officiellement rejoint le parc naturel r\u00e9gional de la Gruy\u00e8re pays d&rsquo;Enhaut en 2021), pour l&rsquo;engagement de son OMD, qui aide les agriculteurs \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des produits touristiques tels que des visites de fromageries et des offres d&rsquo;h\u00e9bergement, et pour \u00eatre un exemple remarquable dans l&rsquo;utilisation de la propri\u00e9t\u00e9 intellectuelle \u00ab\u00a0Le Gruy\u00e8re AOP (qui signifie Appellation d&rsquo;origine prot\u00e9g\u00e9e) Suisse\u00a0\u00bb en relation avec le
